Deliverables

Login to ADAM and review the animations detailed below. Complete the Cardiovascular System worksheet, save your work as a Word document named Lab5_Bios105_Yourname.doc. Submit the completed document to the Week 5 Dropbox.

STEP 2: Login to ADAM and view clinical animations

  1. Click the connect to iLab link above.
  2. Select ADAM 4.
  3. In ADAM, select Clinical Animations from the list on the left hand side.
  4. In the system dropdown box at the top of the screen, select Cardiovascular.
  5. View the following animations:
    1. Heartbeat
    2. Cardiac Conduction System
    3. Electrocardiogram Interactive
    4. Blood Pressure.
  6. For more detail on the anatomy of the heart, select 3D Anatomy on the left hand side and click on the heart. Use the dropdown menu to focus on particular structures.
  7. Complete the Cardiovascular System worksheet.
