Throughout the pursuit of your degree. you have completed assignments that have asked you to analyze or evaluate a particular idea or question. This has required you to take the question, problem or idea apart and examine all of its elements closely before making a judgment or deciding upon an interpretation. In this way, you have been asked to think critically.

For this discussion, you are asked to read the article, Becoming a critic of your thinking (2004) by Linda and Paul Elder and compose a 275 word post in which you reflect upon the four ideas highlighted in the article: “ Clarify your thinking”, “Stick to the point”, “Question questions”, and “Be reasonable.” Be sure to explain the situation you encountered in which you were challenged to apply these concepts. This may have been in a course, or at home or work. Please do not provide names, or identifying characteristics, but give us the gist of the situation and your application of the four ideas.
