Is there an aside/soliloquy and why? How do the footnotes help the reader understand the passage? Cite the OED, available on the SAC library database, if necessary.
Choose from one of these six options. Note that the line numbers may vary depending on your edition of Hamlet. Please italicize the title of the play.
1.2.87-117 King Claudius criticizes Hamlet for his continued mourning over King Hamlet.
1.5.43-91 The Ghost reveals he was murdered by Claudius.
3.3.74-96 Hamlet considers killing Claudius while he is confessing.
3.5.56-89 Hamlet scorns Gertrude for marrying Claudius, who he compares to a mildewed ear.
4.7.1-35 Laertes and King Claudius discuss avenging Poloniuss death.
5.2.292-310 Gertrude is poisoned. King Claudius is stabbed and poisoned.
