In this paper I would like you to investigate how leadership influences job satisfaction and, more deeply, to analyse how national culture could mediate this impact. It is interesting to consider that the impact of leadership style on job satisfaction could be either positive or negative, according to whether there is a consistency between the main leadership characteristics and the national culture of the country or not. For this reason the impact of national culture cannot be ignored in this paper: it should be useful to create a comparison between countries with different culture and see wheter job satisfaction changes or not ( if it changes, it could mean that leaders are not able to internalize and adapt their behaviour to the cultural needs). Hofstedes index ( power distance and collectivism/individualism) can be used to create the comparison.
