a. A database related job, technology, topic, or trend that is important to your chosen field or is interesting to you professionally. You can pick a topic from our book or lecture or something you have researched and read about. Some examples: database administration, Big Data, NoSQL, column-oriented databases, Object-Relational Brokers, data warehousing, database frontend tools, database development, or other interesting topic that is database related. Please give a description of the topic and specify why you feel it is important or interesting. Also please provide some examples of how you or your organization would use it. Research and reference other sources that help justify your answer.

b. A database related issue or opportunity that has been newsworthy since 2012 or later. This can be a security issue, a privacy issue, a revolutionary technology or use of databases, or other database related topic that has been in the media. Use several sources in your analysis and be sure to cite them properly.

Deliverable:

Be sure to use proper format, citations, reference, grammar, spelling, and the correct content. Use APA format for references and citation however the paper can be single spaced 3-5 pages or double spaced 6-10 pages. That is for the content of the paper. Don’t count your title page or references pages in this page count.
