Have you ever read Parable of the sowers?

Have you ever read Parable of the sowers? Can you wirte about if what happened in the book happens in 2016, what would that be? For instance, how race, gender, and class is in the book different or similar than in nowadays. Use first person POV, just what do you think(I think this book interpets class…..).
