Dissect the argument made by the authorFind an opinion-editorial article on the web (if you have difficulty with this, just ask me).You need to dissect the argument made by the author. First, diagram the argument (note the conclusion, and all the premises). This isrelatively simple: write down the conclusion (the single point the author wants you to believe at the end of the essay), and then writedown all the premises the author uses over the course of the essay to back the conclusion. This should end up looking like theassignments you did last week: a list of sentences.Secondly: discuss the logic of each of the premises, and whether they connect to the conclusion. In short, evaluate the internal andexternal logic of an argument.
