Goal: by completing this assignment, students will be able to describe, understand and use music fundamentals terms and concepts. Your task is to do the following:

1. Review the music fundamentals powerpoint and study sheet (in the Fundamentals Introduction module).

2. Choose 10 music fundamentals terms and describe them thoroughly in your own words. I suggest you review all of the terms presented in the powerpoint before you make your choice.

3. Find a musical example on YouTube for each of your choices that demonstrates that term or concept. Provide the link for that musical example.

EXAMPLE:

1. Tempo: the speed of a musical work, which can be fast, slow or anywhere in between. An example of a fast tempo is Tempus Fugit by Bud Powell:
