This paper is a persuasive argument paper with a depth of scope and research to fully substantiate your claims and support your thesis.

You will need to find an issue or topic having to do with the Heart of the Sea or Survival. You will need to research it, so that you can make an informed argument about it. You will need to write with a definite bias and agenda. You do not want to antagonize your reader; however, you will definitely want him/her to be able to understand what your opinion on this topic is.

• Your paper should explain and support your assertions with adequate development and evidence. Focus is crucial here. Your paper should present a thorough investigation of a specific issue and present evidence to prove your thesis.
• You may also choose to explain a certain problem, why you believe it exists and then argue for a course of action to correct it.
