1.In your own words, what defines a “Baroque” work of art? What would you look for in determining if a work of art was Baroque or not? I’m looking for a thorough paragraph here, not just a sentence or two. Go into detail. You may certainly base your view(s) on what the text says about the Baroque style.

2. Select one work of Baroque art from Chapter 17 – compare that work of art to a work of Renaissance art from Ch. 13, 14, or 15. What is the difference between the two works of art? What is the same? Again, I’m looking for a thorough analysis here, not just a couple of sentences. You could probably write a book on any kind of Renaissance-Baroque comparison. There’s so much to say. (When choosing your works of art, let me suggest that you stick with not only the same medium, but the same subject matter – it will make your comparison much easier.)
