1. Text Chapter 2, Problem 12. Draw a Pareto Chart for the OSHA 200 data given. Answer the questions in the problem.
2. Reference the data for the assembly of the pipe valve shown on page 2 of this HW.
a. Prepare an Excel chart that converts the output in parts per hour to minutes per part. Use the output in minutes per part (to 2 decimal places) to prepare the Operations Process Chart as required in paragraph b below.
b. Construct an Operations Process Chart for the pipe valve. Operations times must be shown in units of minutes per part. Note that an inspection is required for all fabricated parts prior to delivery to the assembly process. Each of the subassemblies takes 0.50 minutes.
Include all parts nomenclature, times, etc. Be sure that lines are properly drawn to correctly show purchased and manufactured material entering the flow of operations.
Remember to include the summary table at the bottom of the Operations Process chart.
3. Develop a Flow Process Chart for some process of your choice. The process must have a minimum of 10 steps. Remember to show distances moved for transportations. Times must also be included.
