Overview
The summary assignment will assess your ability to appropriately summarize and cite a resource, as well as identify the main points and select the most relevant information.

Instructions
 Read through the essay and find the key points that show the PURPOSE, ARGUMENT and EVIDENCE of the article.
 Write a summary of the article. Your summary should be around 500 words.
 Remember: your summary should have a title and be presented according to MLA style.
 Your summary must include a description of the type of source, the main ideas, and the reason this source has been written.
 Make sure you include all relevant context information in your summary.
 Your paragraph(s) should be carefully organized, with a topic sentence at the start and closing sentence at the end. It should contain complete sentences written in a formal, academic style, with transitions to link the ideas together.
