The purpose of the journal is to keep your thoughts and ideas organized while thinking about a topic and/or working on a project. You should update your journal at least, once a week. To do so, you:

– Find at least, two articles, published in scholarly journals (not Wikipedia or Google search), and upload them in Discussion Board in a folder under your name.

– In your journal, create an entry with three sections for each article: in one section write a paragraph review of that each article describes. In the second section, write a critique of the article (one paragraph). In the third section, write another paragraph to describe whether the article can help you in your research (if yes, why and how; if not, why).

– At the end of the entry, write a summary of what you should do next (i.e., finding a person to contact, finding a different topic, a different journal, etc.)
