We know that definitions are an important part of many technical documents, including in descriptions. Extended definitions have their own rules and most start with a sentence definition. To hone our definition skills before we use definitions in Project 2, you are going to find and analyze an extended definition on Wikipedia. Look up a basic term related to your future profession or current major on Wikipedia. Analyze the entry according to your new understanding of the Extended Definition genre. Include a link to the Wikipedia page you used as part of your post. To complete this assignment successfully, make sure you first do Reading 5 on definitions.

What categories of information does the definition elaborate on?
