Management
Pay attention to the demands on your time and write an analysis of at least one page that addresses such questions as, “Where do I seem to be rushed or over-committed?”, “Where are the days/weeks that will be especially stressful and how can I minimize them?”, “Do I need to prioritize a few things?,” and “What is my plan for dealing with some of the more difficult weeks?” You may also want to develop a plan for what days/times you may need to set aside for homework or studying — talk about ideas for “budgeting” your time.
The more specific you are, the stronger your paper will be.
Finally, even the best, most organized student runs into problems or unanticipated complications. Often these problems take the form of transportation problems (car breaks down), or computer problems (it crashes), or babysitting issues (doesn’t or can’t show up), or illness. These problems can derail even the most determined student. Please write an extra paragraph in your analysis that addresses any factors in your life which may impact your ability to successfully complete any of your academic obligations for the semester, and then discuss any ideas you may have for back-up plans. Having at least one back-up plan can save you!!
